Our Children

As the world turns around and around,

problems are manifested within.

Our children are being kidnapped, molested,

raped and murdered

Our children —as they take their own lives,

remain unnoticed.

And as they take their on lives one by one,

we must wonder who will be left to carry the torch?

Our energies are used on so many worthwhile projects,

when will we do more for our children?

To stop the mass confusion they feel inside.

When will we stop the suffering, that plague our children

night and day?

When will we understand their problems,

while putting their fears and doubts to rest?

Our children must come first as our

continued existence depends on it.

The Child Abuse – It is a Curse

Child is the father of mankind. Child is our future. Yet child abuse is rampant in our society. It snuffs out the budding flower long before it can bloom fully.

There are many forums that cry ‘foul’ yet the abuse goes on unabated. Poem such serves as a mouthpiece as it truly captures and encapsulates the pain and agony of the persistently prevailing callous attitude

I admire your conviction to raise the issue and ask the relevant questions. Let us focus fully on putting an end to the miseries, misfortunes of our future.

You also have the moral courage to bell the cat. After all, the charity begins at home. Everyone of us has to proactively work towards with due diligence.
